Laelia purpurata var. werkhauseri

What a 'werkhaueseri' is? It's a type? For me it seems like a clonal name, and then only the original plant (and its divisions and/or mericlones) could receive this name (i.e., the L purpurata werkhaueseri 'Superba' from Karl Werkhaueser, the "Jóia da Bruxa" - 'Witch's Jewel').
Everybody is selling any 'ardósia' LP as 'werkhaueseri' today! What do you think about this? I'm asking you 'cause you show us a beautiful LP, but the 'original' werkhaueseri has completely white petals and sepals; for me (and I do not intend to hurt you!) your plant is a wonderful LP 'ardósia estriata' (like 'Minha Gilda', from Geraldo Patto)
