Seedpod on Encyclia tampensis- What to do

Just found a seedpod on my Encyclia tampensis. I have no idea about what to do with it . I do not think it is easy to grow plants from those seeds. It will probably need sterile condition and special way of growing from seed and lots of patience- and I have none of these.
Should I just remove the seedpod so it does not take energy from my plant? Am I correct in thinking about difficulties involved in order to grow from seed?

If you wanted to try seed propagation, look in the propagation forum for info on flasking. You can also Google.

You are correct that it's a bit involved, and it can be a few to several years from seedlings to bloom sized plant.

Troy Meyers will flask species at no charge, I believe - they keep some, send you one, I think ...

If you don't wish to harvest the pod, it can stay on if the plant is not in poor health, or you can remove it.

My seedpod is ballooning up too. I was surprised to see how big they get .
