Detected mild fragrance today but it was different in nature- more cinnamony than floral.
Flowers are very beautiful though.
My plant was huge and it lost roots last August. I divided it and potted one half in wood basket which is blooming now.The pseudobulbs are about half the original size.
May be next year it will do better but I doubt I can match care given by nursery.

I think, fragrance may become stronger if I bring the plant indoor but I am unable to do that since there is another sheath coming up that might get ruined due to change in environment.

The labellum on this one is very ornate and blue!!! I love the full sized cattleya look, but allas I don't have the space for the big guys.

Lovely flowers....the color and form are admirable....and fragrant at that !
The plant is happy and healthy just looking at the roots that are well established on the wooden basket.
