So i was searching the web and i found a very interesting video on youtube

What do you think about that?

When i repot my orchids i work sooo gently, i dont want to break any roots. But she just digs her hand inside that pot and stuffs the potting mix inside. Shze stabilized the plant perfectly.

so how do you pot your orchids? gently or "rough" ?

Having done it both ways I prefer and get better results doing it gently. I don't want any breakage of the roots where fungus, bacteria, and molds can enter the root system. And which media you use depends a lot on what your growing conditions are going to be. For instance I can't use coco husk for anything. It stays too wet. I would rather my media dry out so I can water more often. Therefore fertilize more often. Someone in a drier location may use coco hisk. But I prefer to pot gently.
