How wonderful! I have heard that this one has a wonderful fragrance.
I have a tiny seedling of this...it will take a good, long while before I can post a picture.

Indeed. Most cattleyas do not fragrate as soon as they open, but this one has had a soft orchidy smell since the buds cracked. I expect it to fully fragrate tomorrow morning. It is a STRONG fragrance.

I love the form and markings and the lip . I wish I could smell it. I love fragrant orchids.

Yes, that's a beautiful flower. The veining on the lip is highly attractive.

I absolutely love this Cat, that has the rumor of not being an easy one.
And yours is absolutely gorgeous!
Tell us more about the fragrance
I, like many I think , raise some seedlings with the hope to see its flower some day!
