I got this orchid and a few others on Oahu last year at Kawamoto nursery. They also sell orchids online on eBay. Very good nursery, beautiful orchids.
Thank you again for your help.

So jealous here, you went to Kawamoto, I buy from Reid all the time, he is absolutely THE BEST regarding packing, I have never ever seen such a great job, all my orchids came in amazing condition, all the spikes and buds. They are on my MUST DO list when going to Hawaii once:-) Gorgeous cattleya, have one from Kawamoto as well:-)

Ah I didn't know his name. I should watch the videos. I talked to his father at the nursery, picked a few plants at the nursery but also a few on eBay, showed them online to his father and he found them for me. He said his son created the website and store on eBay they are lovely people.

They truly are, and always so helpful, plus their plants are excellent and they really pack the best!

Mine grow and flower well but only flower in the late summer into fall, mostly.

Very nice, this was my first Dendrobium, bought in Home Depot I think, and I must say, it blooms pretty much through out the whole year here in Florida as well. It seems to me that there are new spikes pretty much all the time, from spring to fall:-)

Lucky I live in NYC and the conditions are not that great for orchids. Probably not enough humidity in our apartment.
I bought 3 white dendrobiums a few months ago. I was surprised that as soon as the flowers died, I got new spikes on two orchids. The third one isn't looking good though, no leaves and 2 dead canes. Roots look ok though. You think there is a chance it will survive?

I have exactly the same plant. I would be no worried about the cane with no leaves, as far as roots are fine. This is normal for my dendrobiums, next year you should get from this cane many new keikis! Dendrobium looses the leaves on old canes. I had some, that had 4 canes leafless, looking like they would be dead, but next year all these canes give like 10 keikis. I did not even separate them, let them grow on mother plant, and they did bloom like crazy:-)
