Cattleya aclandiae on mount
Another rainy day with lots of time on my hands so I can finally share some pics. My C aclandiae was in bloom in May and currently has two buds plumping up. It is mounted on wood which its roots have lovingly embraced and grows outdoors hanging in my homespun shadehouse thrown together with clothing racks topped with wood lattice and shadecloth.

Thanks for the kind comments, No-Pro-Mwa and Tucker 85. I can't get enough of the fragrance when this baby blooms.

Nice. Is it true, that the aclandiae only get 3 roots Per new growts?

Fabulous!
I got a small one -not yet bloom size - earlier this year ... I have no idea how far off from being bloom sized it may be ... What is the pbulb and leaf size of yours, please?

Beautiful blooms and photo! Looks like a happy camper! I too have a small one and am waiting for it to bloom. It has lots of growths but was called a small seedling last summer.
