I do grow my Cattleyas, Phals and Paphs under T5 lights in winter. But the Cattleyas are under 2 or more bulbs and very close whereas the Paphs and Phals are under 1 or 2 bulbs and farther away. Paphs and Phals are often considered compatible to grow together both for temps and amount of light. Cattleyas usually need fairly bright light to bloom. But some of the new hybrids that are more compact seem to get by with less. You may need to do some experimenting.
