cattleya guttata "exotic orchids*exotic blue" first bloom Male
Default cattleya guttata "exotic orchids*exotic blue" first bloom

first time flowering for this baby.

THE LABEL SAY Catleya guttata coerulia (exotic orchids x exotic blue)

cattleya guttata "exotic orchids*exotic blue" first bloom-imag0553-jpg

i don't really see the coerulia on it, , and the flower shows petals wider/bigger than normal C guttatas, this is either a truly exceptional guttata, or someone gave me a plant that it is not guttata, (still good looking tho)

the lip size and color is also quite impressive however, the only defect is that the lip does not cover the column itself. the plant just opened flowers this morning, i believe the petals and sepals will get a deeper bronze color.

thoughts ?

Antonio.
