I really like that cross. It always seems to look better in person than in pictures. Your's looks even nicer than others I've seen. Very nice color contrast. I hope I can find a nice one like that.

Yes, the farmer's market at Union Square.
They carry lots of interesting cattleyas in bud/bloom along with some other stuff.

This is a first time flowering. If I don't get to rebloom this, I can mail it to you if you'd like.

Silva orchids? I went to the Orchid Festival they had in June. I didn't get too much time in the greenhouses there. My son had had enough of me looking at orchids (lol, he is eleven).

I took this one in the afternoon.
I don't think it will turn orange. It was probably wrong information on the internet.
I talked to the grower and was told that this flower opens up creamy yellow then turn white/pink, which mine is at the moment.
