Prosthechea aemula Male
Default Prosthechea aemula

Other names are Encyclia aemula and Anacheilium aemulum. There are more similar looking closely related species. Aemula is Latin for similar as this species can easily be confused with Prosthechea fragrans.
A main difference is that this species flowers from a new lead before pseudobulbs are developing, and not after the pbulbs are finished.

Nice. I would certainly have misidentified it! P. fragrans is just finishing for us.
