Ordered this from an online retailer maybe a month or two ago, sheath opened up almost immediately and blooms came in last Friday. Flowers are quite pretty, pungent with a not unpleasant peppery odor. Every once in a while I get a whiff - if I didn't know what it was, I might not be so pleased with the odor, but as it is I think it's nice.


Take note of the really pretty "dewdrops" on the buds.

Thanks for the kind words! The fourth photo is the most true to life, color-wise. And the odor isn't bad, just strange.
