Blc. Hsinying Baga
This is a cross between Lc. Hsinying Pub and Blc. Memoria Anna Balmores 'Convex'. I got this plant from Orchid Center in Waianae, Hawaii in August 2010. This is the first bloom for my plant. It has two flowers on one inflorescence. The flowers have a natural spread of 5 inches horizontally. I believe this is a mericlone since others have bloomed this cross with similar features.

That's a beautiful cattleya! I'm going to put that one on my wish list. One of the parents, Blc. Memoria Anna Balmores 'Convex', is a long time favorite of mine and one of the oldest orchids I own. Is Blc. Hsinying Baga fragrant? Is it a compact growing plant?

Thank you for your comments. The flowers have a nice fragrance. The plant is not a compact grower but it is also not a large growing plant. I guess it is a normal sized cattleya plant.
