Give them out free at the top of dunes with a bottle of water that costs N$500.

That IS just perfect! No wonder I like these colors so much. They just speak to me on so many different levels, I suppose. For a while I used to work at a small research station in the Namib Desert. I've seen my fair share of desert sunsets and sunrises, and I have to say: It's a good name that really fits!

I just had to attach a picture to show you all!

Your photo brings back memories. We visited Namibia a few years ago and were in the Namib desert and just loved the unbelievable red color and the shape of the dunes.

I repotted it.

This plant is a bit of a mess. It got leaves going in different directions and it does not stand well, so in the end I tucked it into a old, large wooden basket I've got. It's the only thing I had that could keep it in place.

I might have to make a better and more permanent plan with it after it's done flowering. I suspect my old, worn-out planter is getting close to the end of its lifetime.

The colours are fantastic, and the hole plant and flowers much bigger than Trick or Treat. Wonderful.

Your sunset photo brings back memories, and only the stary sky at night in Namib desert was more thrilling. Wish I could have stayed a little longer.
