We have many hybrids of Tampensis down here in FL, since the plant is native to this state

thanks.. its a pretty plant too without the blooms...

Ill look for some of the florida native plants, I think they like Texas too ...

Found quite a few nice sites already, not many versions of the tampensis but a lot of variety in the BC crosses which I really like too bec they grow for me.

this plant been thru the april hail storm too but I took it inside

Hello RJ

I just got one of these the other day and am too in the Houston area. Do you have yours in a greenhouse or outside? I don't have a greenhouse so mine is hanging outside on the front porch. Most of my plants are inside but I'm trying to experiment with some placement outside for orchids that need lots of light. But I don't want to put too many outside because I don't have too much room to bring them in when it gets cold.

Very nice specimen.

I have a seedling alba that is blooming for the first time. One spike blasted and another one only produced two flowers. The petals are chartreuse and the lip is white. It is a cute little thing. Hopefully it will, one day, be a nice specimen like yours.
