Crosses like this were more popular between 1900 and 1960. I do not have a name or further information. All that I know is that this plant was among the first I bought more than 30 years ago. At that time the nursery sold several hybrids from France, from Vacherot & Lecoufle.
One parent is without doubt Rhyncholaelia digbyana. The pink color makes me think that the other parent is some sort of Cattleya.
The shape is not the best, and flowers need some help and staking in the time of resupination. But temperature tolerance, easy growing, reliant blooming (Rhynch. digbyana often fails), the big frilly lip and the fresh lemon scent compensate for that.

Nice, the digbyana influence is clearly present! Love the Brassavola`s!

Howdy
do you suppose it is BC Helen? (I think) L Tenebrosa and B Digbyana?

Nice keeping it going all those years.

thanks for sharing

Rex

How great that you've had it for 30+ years, and it's still going strong.

Looks like a Port of Paradise with more exotic kick with that fine frilly edge of the lip and the picotee.
