Most of my cymbidiums are the so called miniatures that are supposed to be warmth tolerant but they are still shy bloomers if not pampered. I have Cymbidium Golden Elf 'Sundust', reputed to be an easy bloomer but my plant has never bloomed. I am thinking about making a raised area in my daylily bed and plant them all in the ground. Who knows, they might love it.
