Lavender clones of this cross are less common, but reflect the influence of C. Brabantiae which is in the background (or Cattleya loddigesii in the end!). Also, due to the presence of C. aclandiae and C. schilleriana it is hard to find a multi-floral C. Pão-de-Açúcar, but sometimes it is possible. The name honours the famous Sugar Loaf Hill in the City of Rio de Janeiro.

Stunning! That's my first thought when looking at this beauty!! I could add gorgeous and fantastic and lots of other adjectives....but I think you get my drift!
I don't know why but the first thing I thought of was Cotton Candy! Yummy
I love it
Now that you mention... yes...it kinda makes me remember those rosy cotton candies we loved to love when we were kids...now... I guess I'm gonna eat my plant

If I remember correctly Tindo exclaimed desires of eating orchids, too. ( Sue - remember Tindo self proclaiming himself to be 'goatboy' )
Is it a guy thing?
