I absolutely love laelia purpurata. I only wish I had enough space to house these big plants.

Thanks for looking. The strong flower stem of purpuratas is definitely a plus.
I normally try to give some information without being lecturing.
And Rosie, if your plant is strong enough, it should not be a problem for the plant to flower.

The highland varieties are much more compact if you can find them.
