Default New Acquisitions From Redlands Show

I went on Friday morning to hopefully get first dibs on what vendors were offering. Picked up 2 white and 1 alba, not sure why but I guess that was the theme! Thanks for looking!

Ctt. White Bridal 'Yuki', blooms are about 2.5" across.

Brassavola nodosa var. majus. Has anyone heard of variety majus? I didn't see anything from google. The vendor said that it has the biggest blooms of all the nodosa varieties, and yet this was one of the smallest nodosa plants I've ever seen, growths are 3-6" long.

Encyclia tampensis var. alba in bud.

It is, but won't be for long. The Encyclia was as well (same vendor) but I took it out of the moss and put it in the pot with leca for now. I will most likely mount all three of these, but possibly put the mini catt in a basket.

The 2 were from Ching Hua, and the Brassavola is from a guy named Pete (forgot his last name) selling orchids and bromeliads.

I went Sat., got new babies, you go crazy there, I saw a selling Renanthera with flowers for $40, I did not touch that, he was telling me they are very easy to care for, but not., I like to know more about the orchid before buying it.
