Iwanagara (Jackfowliwara) Appleblossom in bloom
This is my 2nd bloom for this plant which I got as a near bloom size from H & R a few years ago. It produced 2 flowers in May last year as well. It's nicely scented in the mornings. I was hoping for more blooms this year since I know this hybrid can produce multiple blooms on a spike. But I recently saw another of these and realize mine might still be a young plant. I love it anyways.

I have a 5 year old Iwanagara, Appleblossom, which had a beautiful spike with 6 flowers. My favorite too, from Woodland Orchids, in NC

Thanks Monica, Myrle and Bud.
Bud, it is fragrant in the morning/early afternoon. It doesn't fill a room but I can smell it when I walk by.

This definitely gets better as the years pass. This year I had three leads and they each had five wonderfully fragrant blooms. I love the edging on the blossoms.

The flowers have good substance and last a long time too. One of my very favorites
