Default Cattleya warneri 'MR'

This is one of the finest C. warneri I have ever found around. It has very good shape, consistent color and is well proportioned. Two years ago I was replacing my shade cloth and was unaware that this and some other plants had been exposed to full sun. Although it was winter, even the winter sun here can produce ugly damages on the leaves. This and the others got severely burnt (shame on me!!) and are recovering now, so one flower is a poor performance for the plant, but I guess it is doing its best for the moment.

That's about as close to perfect for C. warneri as you can get! Does this one carry a bit of extra red color in the growths?

Yes, Phantasm. Especially in the leaves edges and undersides.
