Currently in bloom, my Rhyncholaelia (Syn Brassavola) Aristocrat, a primary cross of Rhyncholaelia glauca x digbyana. The night-time fragrance is delightful. Flowers measure 5" wing to wing and the frilled lip is two inches wide and long. The plant is mounted on cork tied inside a plastic basket. It blooms annually for me and is always worth the wait.
I don't know if it was a simple accident, but just in case, I looked up the parents of this, and it is Ryncholaelia (syn. Brassavola) Aristocrat, (Rl. gluaca x Rl. digbyana). This is a great flower and it really has the best of both parents!
Oh, for heaven sakes, I surely did mess up. Thanks for catching it. I meant to type digbyana but I guess I had brassavola on my mind. It's fixed now, so thanks again.
