Cattleya walkeriana var. semi-alba 'Kenny' AM/AOS
Some say it is not a pure walkeriana.
It is a easy plant to grow and to bloom.

Fantastic! I just bought a seedling of C. Snow Blind 'Kenny'. I think mine is said to be a combination of C. Loddigesil and walkeriana. No idea. But the blooms are so beautiful, who cares? I really enjoyed seeing your bloom-- it is suburb!

Pheli,
That is stunning!! Some of the 'Kenny' clones don't turn out as nicely as the original, but you seem to have gotten a good one and grown it well. Congrats!

This one has been renamed as Snow Blind (because it is a hybrid, like you mentioned), so yours should look the same as this one!

I knew the award and had not seen it labled as a semi-alba and thought maybe I didn't have the same one. I really can't wait to see this one bloom someday. When I first bought it, I was doing additional research and was very surprised at the debate. Have they done the genetic testing to prove it either way?

I believe that is why the AOS renamed the awarded FCC plant as Snow Blind.
