Bud do you mean like the filters we used to use pre-digital days? I would think if the camera makes an overcast sky look crystal clear blue it would affect the color of the bloom?

Thank You, Tucker !
No Brooke, the color of the flower nor the picture is not affected; only the background seems affected and blurry

I am not a professional photographer but a real professional told me to take pictures on an overcast sky to get the true color of the flower....yet I still get a clear crisp blue sky....it must be some inner filter on my digital camera(Canon SX500IS) = a cheap camera I got from Ebay=the background of my pictures are crisp color but grainy and blurry

Maybe I need to buy a cheap camera because the expensive one doesn't do that

or maybe Manhattan really get clear blue skies I just never took notice of it....after all we are near the sea; in fact we are an island surrounded by waters.... usually, after a severe and intense snow storm we get clear blue skies

I have lived there long enough to know that Manhattan gets alot of clear blue skies. People really never take the time to look up; or usually too many high rise building blocking it from the street. And when you live in a high rise you tend to look down not up. lol
