Lc. Sheila Lauterbach "Equilab" FCC/AOS repotting questions
I purchased this plant several months ago. The new growth is up against the side of the pot. I want to repot it. Should I use the same pot and just move the older growth to the side of the pot and use new media or should I plant it in a larger pot?
Thanks for your help.

I don't see evidence that it has ever bloomed. Does anyone have an estimate at how long from blooming they think it is?

I don't know about bloom size or not...
But you could definitely scooch that forward in the pot.

No repotting until the new growths have matured and started rooting; then you can move it to a slightly bigger pot. Make sure that even thought the pot should be a bit bigger, still make sure the pot isnt too tall/deep. If you have no choice and have a deep pot then just repot with only enough media to firmly anchor the plant to the pot and don't let the media get to within 1.5-2 inches of the pot rim.
Looks like it could flower anytime this year with good 1-2 times weekly fertilizing in these warmer/hot spring & summer months.

Well, the new roots were finally long enough to safely repot. The roots weren't too bad. I used a slightly smaller, clear pot. Does it look okay? Did I underpot it?

Good job. The orchid definitely looks big enough to bloom. Good luck.

Orchid looks very healthy; just remove a bit of the media. I usualy suggest an inch between the medium and the rim of the pot.

Thank you. Is it okay if the roots are a little exposed then?

That's fine. As long as you have potted it covering the rhizome and older roots and its secure in the pot. Hope you cut away any dead roots!
Don't want dead roots taking up most of the space in the pot.

Yes, trimmed them all off. I also removed as much of the sarongs as I could.
