Very nice......I used to have one that was white with a pink blush on the flower segments. I haven't seen one like that since and it's gone to the great greenhouse in the sky.

Mauro, does this Laeila need a rest period to flower? I have one "ordinary" sincorana that sends the next lead before the first leaf has opened.

Ross, this coerulea variety are becoming more available here the last two years, or so. I can't say whether it is available in the States or not, but if not you can always try Floralia Orchids They regularly attend shows in the USA, especially Redlands and some Fairs in California. This is not on their catalog, but, eventually, they can bring you one (or some, if friends join) for you to pick up with them, or somenthing like that.

Yes, Magnus, it does rest for a few months after the leaf opens. Aren't you over fertilizing, perhaps?

Yes, they are salty, Fred. But, seedlings of this variety caerulea (selfing) can now be found in the State of Espirito Santo, AWZ nurseries has it almost NBS for as cheap as U$17, if memory serves me well (R$ 30 ou 35, se não me engano). I bought one from them months ago and the plant they sent will flower the next year, for sure.

Sorry no photos. It was from an importation by Ray Rands years ago from Brazil. The flowers were very unusual with a white base and a pink/lavender in the center of each flower part, kind of like a wide picotee.
