Default Newly acquired Rlc. Liu's Joyance 'Yung Tien #3'

I bought this Catt. from Ching Hua at the Edmonton Orchid show a couple weeks ago. It had large buds, so I can't take any credit for the blooms. What drew me to it was a more mature plant of the same cultivar that they had in their vendor display that was going to go in their show display. Apparently this plant blooms initially as a lovely yellow with deep purple lip and gradually turns to an almost neon orange with purple lip!

Mine has just opened. Sadly one bloom is upside down and it's hard to do the blooms justice with a camera. But it started with a lovely lime/yellow and now that it's fully open is the brightest truest yellow. The 2nd photo is the one that was on display at the show so I am interested to see if mine will develop to that orange color. To be honest, I am loving it in the yellow form very much! It is very fragrant as well.
