Rare Ctna. Rosy Jewel Alba Specimen
This one has 11 spikes with another on the way. Coming from only 3 when I just got it for my birthday!  Not all blooms have opened on all spikes yet but a lot have opened at the same time. Because the blooms are so wide spread and the plant is so big its hard to really capture all the blooms at once. So i'm not to proud of the photos i snagged last night before bed but oh well. 
When all blooms are open, or just about all I will try to get a wide shot of it. Here are some pics of individual spikes as best I could without moving the plant to a center table; which i will do soon to get some more photo ops.

The background is not the best in some pictures, but the plant is strong and the pristibe white and yellow throat of the flowers with strong influence of Broughtonia is stunning.

Well these photos are just a quick snap & upload...if you know me on these boards you will know that I always take impeccable shots. 
If I went closer you would see the lovely sparkle on the petals & sepals; really a jewel.  |

As promised, I took some much better photos of this specimen. I also changed its location so I is not a showpiece within my living-room. I was able to capture full shots of it to give you an idea of the spread. Its so beautiful, and to think, their are 2 more spikes coming along!
