Default Prostheca chimborazoensis

Went to the New York Botanical Gardens today and found this one in full bloom. Gorgeous white with white and blue stipped labelums. I think I even detected a strong fragrance from this one.

We have one of this specie that is specimen size and is growing on a tree just like this one. The blooms on ours are lemony green colour.

I have got to go there! im only an hour away! i have never been! id like to practice my photography while im there as well! with so much inspiration for shots it should be a blast!
