2 New Potinara Kat-E-Sun 'Lake View'
Got these 2 from Kawamoto Orchid Nursery in Hawaii.
I am going to give 1 plant to my step-mom. Both plants are about 10in tall from the pot rim.
First 4 pictures are of Plant # 1
Next 4 of Plant# 2
What about the black spotting on Plant #1's leaf?
Said they were ready to be transplanted in 4" pots, but their current pot is 3.5". Will they be fine in there for now? Or should I transplant?
Thanks for looking!

Yes! They are supposed to be bright yellow with a hot pink lip.

Happy healthy plants....they both have leads that has a promise of buds....
dont worry about repotting= these plants like to be potbound; kawamoto is great with potting.... it will take you maybe a year before you must repot

Really beautiful, I love Kawamoto they are one of my favs. I just got a few catts from them and repotted them anyway even though they didn't really need it just to make sure to get rid of any pests they might have, one of my Kawamoto purchases came with a tiny bush snail in it once... I know they spray them down but just in case...

did you repot them then? because if it had one centipede it might have others, and I hear they can be real pests for orchids...

No, he came out when I watered. And so I soaked the pot for a while in the sink to make sure anything else came out that was in there.
