Default Brassavola perrinii

This is an old and well-known species. Mine is a little piece I was given last year, flowering for the first time in my grh with three flowers.

That's lovely!
Silly question but...do you have many of the other Brassavola species?

Actually, I grow this perrinii, also a variety of it of huge flowers, the small B. reginae, nodosa... what else... I guess that's all. Well, let alone the old Brassavolas, now Rhyncholaelia, dibyana and glauca. That's not much !

B. Nodosa is known for it's fragrance. Is perrinni also fragrant?

I agree, Sue, elegant without the floff.

Yes, Dorothy, it is, especially at the end of the day/beginning of the night.

That's a beauty. I used to have one years ago in my early days, but alas, it is now in that great orchid compost pile in the sky!
