Very nice Monika, congrats on the blooming. How could you not love B. nodosa. Interesting and hardy plant growth habit, neat flower shape, awesome fragrance.

Oddly, I went to a local Lowe's store around where I live and they were selling these. I've never seen this species in a store like that before. They also had some paphs.

I wanted one for a long Time-so last Year i finally got it.
Iv'e noticed that i did it again ---i wrote a capital N.
When will i ever learn? It's a B.nodosa.

Sun of a gun! - the USA Lowes and other hardware stores get the neatest orchid plants. Mostly overbred, mass produced floppy Phals here in Edmonton! So jealous!

Yes, us too. However, Home Cheapo did have some named Oncidiums a couple weeks ago. They were on special for something like $29.00 for one week and now have been $44.00 for the last two weeks. I have resisted based on price Of course I missed the first week. Walmart also had some Oncids but NOID although I am sure they were ones such as Sharry Baby.

The Lowe's I went to had one Phrag type that had an ID, as well as a few oncidiums with IDs, and the B. Nodosa w/ID.
