Rhyncholaeliocattleya Daffodil
A complex cross registered for D. Sladden in 1940. It has a clear golden colour, very heavy substance, long lasting flowers and a strong fragrance. Not unpleasant, but also not the sweetest.
I traced it's parentship back through 6 generations: I found C. dowiana (8x) 34,375%, C. trianae (1x) 25%, Rhynchol. digbyana (3x) 14,0625%, C. mossiae (1x) 12,5%, L. xanthina (1x) 6,25%, C. mendelii (2x) 4,6875%, C. bicolor (1x) 1,5625% and L. cinnabarina (1x) 1,5625%.
