C. walkeriana was originally crossed with C. pumila to get C. Mini Purple. C. Mini Purple was then back crossed to C. walkeriana again to get C. Aloha Case. This has been a fast growing cattleya with a beautiful, very strong fragrance. So far this year it has 18 flowers and 4 more buds.
This is such a lovely specimen! What is the fragrance like? I would love a back bulb whenever you are repotting in a bigger pot or basket. If possible anyway. Ciao!
Wow, that is so beautiful! Now I am wishing I had ordered it from Ching Hua for the orchid show later this month! It is a particular clone which may not look as nice as yours tho.
