Saaaaaweeeeeet Bud!!!! Very very nice. Ya know I'm a sucker for these red/peach catts and their relatives. This one is exceptional. You did good bud. Is it fragrant? I'm gonna get me one of these if I can find one. Thanks for showing it.

it does have a slight spicy watermelon scent that gets stronger by noon.

Others members dont like the frou-frou lip and petals, but with this kind of color it needs that ruffled can-can skirt look

I got to hand it to you Bud, with the depth of the vase I think most normal people would lose the roots because the media would take so long to dry out. Congrats - it is gorgeous.

Did you change jobs? I thought you worked as a set designer but it looks more like an office environment now. It looks like you have lots of plants in there and not just in your apartment. How nice to have your hobby with you day and night.

Be sure and post pics when both buds are in bloom!

That is my office/computer room in my apartment and the lighting is not that effective....I am a designer for theater on Broadway....
the long vase is packed loosely with media mix and it dries fast, I flush it monthly for algae deposits

I sometimes use the plastic crystal look vases from dollar stores for my s/h
