Default Encyclia osmantha - two clones

This Brazilian Encyclia species is wonderfully perfumed to say the less. I always wait for this time of the year just to smell it as many times as I can ! I'm posting two clones, the first two photos show the regular species and the last two a better shaped flower with a distinct, almost completely white lip (the normal being three or four striped in the center).

Perhaps the flatter shape of the second one may be more desirable to some, but I like the shape and the color in the lip of the first one. If choices like this were the hardest ones we had to make , wouldn't life be grand!

Yes, Dorothy, this species is extremely fragrant during the day and part of the night! My wife says it smells like honey. I can partially agree with that, I think that it has a little bit of something else that makes it very sweet!
