He sells under sunsetvalleyorchids. He doesn't have anything posted right now though. I want to say he posts new stuff on Sundays but I'm not sure.

L. pumilla is a gorgeous deep lavender Mini Brazilian species that I've had outdoors at 33F and it held up. It's often used in the crosses for lavender mini catts. Here is a link to several pumillas including whites: Laelia pumila
If you call ths grower, I'm sure they can suggest more.
Another grower I wanna do a day trip out to..
Those are some beautiful catts. I'm partial to pink...

They also are blooming size or very close to blooming size. Most of mine that I have bought came in bloom or had bloomed before. Fred Clarke who owns this nursery has great prices too. I have been to this nursery as well. A lot of mini-Catts are red because breeders use Sophronitis coccinea in a lot of crosses to make them small and a lot of people like red Cattleya flowers because there are no species Catts that are red. I actually love red mini-Catts because I love Soph coccinea! SVO has an eBay store too and you can see pictures of the flower before buying since they tend to sell blooming plants on eBay. They sell a lot of other colors besides red too. They also sell compact Catts and standard size as well as species. His site explains the height differences in each category. Mini-Catts stay under 6 inches tall. Good luck and check out SVO. He has a gallery of Cattleya flowers on his site too. You can also usually see pics of the parents of the crosses.
I did like their prices.. and their plants...

I had nothing against the red flowers... I have a small section of my yard devoted to red flowers... Which I honestly am trying to figure it how to fit a red mini catt into.... but there's zero red in my home and zero colors it would go with so I'm avoiding it for this purpose...
Good to know about the eBay site... is shipping reasonable?

Angel Orchids - Cattleyas, Phalaenopsis, Oncidiums
They have some nice minis as well for cheap... the size listing confused me..is that how tall the plant gets? Or how tall it is when you get it?

Pink was the first color you listed so I thought you must like it a lot.

Many of the mini catts bloom in Spring so that's a good time to get one with a bud or spike.

Shipping was $15 for me. Pretty reasonable.

The size listing is how big the plants are right now. Most of the #8 ones are two years away and the more expensive are a year. I've added quite a few smaller ones to my collection because Im confident I can grow them to blooming size and save me $20 a pop.

I am primarily a cattleya grower, and I have several vendors I know and love. They include:

Alohaorchids.com
Carmelaorchids.com
Nattsorchids.com
On ebay, search for kawamoto orchids

Check them out, they have beautiful things. Natts and kawamoto have lower shipping

Coud's in Canada sell quite a few mini and compact Catts as well. They ship to the U.S. Cattleya Alliance Species and Hybrids(updated on December 23, 2012) I love my little Pot. Petitpetit 'Lucky' and it is pink with a gorgeous red/yellow lip. Look at it and some other Potinaras near the bottom of attached page link under P. I bought this last spring as a medium seedling and it bloomed last summer already! They have upgraded the size to near bloom size. (they didn't increase price). They told me a few of these in their greenhouse were putting out blooms already so they are real eager bloomers.
