Brasavola Little Stars
Friend gave me this one as she was having no luck blooming. Moved from pot to the mount and it has gone crazy in a few months...has 5 or 6 spikes, flowers have just started on the 2 back spikes. A tricky one to photograph. Guess the pot was cramping his style!

Your friend didn't give this plant enough light. It needs high light. Given enough light, it's hard not to see flowers on this orchid.
smells great at night, right?

Ok, she thought it was a humidity issue....maybe light....not gonna tell her, she'll want back. I'm hoping I can rid myself of this dirty rotten cold so that I can smell this plant before it stops blooming. Thanks for the tips NY.

The blooms do last a while so hopefully you will get to enjoy its wonderful night fragrance. It is a great orchid!

Everyday or every other day at the very least. This is temperature dependent of course. Cold weather gets dry conditions and in hot weather (summer) it can need multiple waterings per day.
