These and others I have came from a very nice older lady named Bell Garner, since passed, to my club as a donation for our fund raiser. They were in very bad shape so I rescued them and they are now blooming. Most had no names but these and a couple others had names. They are old crosses from the 50's and 60's. I have had them about two years. As I divide them they will go on our opportunity table so others can take them home and enjoy them. By the way, the decendants of Karen Gubler are still in business in Landers, Ca. and grow exquisite orchids of many types. I just emailed Heidi to see if she is still growing these two. I'll let everyone know what I find out. Landers is in the high desert here in Calif. and gets into the low 100's during the summer. I was surprised anyone would commercially grow orchids up there but there facility looks gorgeous. Gublers.com. Take a look. Also both of these are very very fragrant and long lasting. G. Patton was in bloom for around 5 weeks and K. Gubler for 4. If you like big white flowers with fragrance, these are good to try.
