Hi Picotee. If it wont bloom try keeping it dry.at this time of year. I only water at three week intervals and the root balls are like rock. I don't advocate everyone doing this but it works for me. I will be leaving them for 5 weeks shortly but the greenhouse humidity will be high so I'm not expecting any problems.with Cattleyas or Angraecums and the phrags and a few paphs are watered 24/7.

I appreciate the suggestion, Ed. That's a tall order for me, though, because it grows outdoors and is subject to rain. That said, I will be more vigilant about keeping the watering wand aimed away from this guy more often at this time of year. Thank you for the helpful hint.
