This miniature plant is endemic to Colombia and Venezuela in pine and oak forests, I grow this warm to cool with bright shaded light to partial full sun on the south facing window ….I inherited this mounted and by checking out the roots I just left it alone to thrive healthy and happy….clumping and sprawling, this plant blooms any time of the year….the flowers look like bumble bees, waxy texture and a prominent reddish colored lip and green sepals that is quite long lasting(I got a couple of opened blooms and three buds forming)…. every other day: it loves to be misted in winter than a full throttled flow of water under the sink….I spritz it every day in the warm growing months….weekly weakly Algoflash fertilizer alternated with seaweed mix.
