I haven't detected any fragrance or only a very light fragrance. I'm so busy cooking for the Holiday that my nose (which is usually pretty good) is overwhelmed!

Very interesting. How long do the flowers last for you?

The first blooms opened in mid-November and are still going strong. There are two buds to open still. Sorry, I haven't kept good records until this year, so I can't be more specific. I'll let you know when I cut the spike after the last bloom is spent.

The blooms on this one are just starting to fade. They should be done within 2 weeks or so. So they lasted about 3+ months. Not too bad

That is wonderful! Do you use superthrive and msu every time you water?

I do use MSU and Superthrive and I'd say it is almost every watering. Everyone in a while, I use plain water. I don't really have a schedule for it, but I figure it must be good to do occasionally.

I use the Fert calculator from FirstRay and figured out the amount to use of the MSU and it seems to be working well. In anticipation of spring, I also made my first application of Dyna-grow KLN to stimulate root growth, I hope. I'l going to try a 1/month application for the next 6 months or so.

Thanks Carrie! I just started using Ray's K lite. Do you use KLN and Superthrive together?

Do you by any chance remember where you purchased that variety?
