I love it! I have epicatt Don Herman, but it isn't nearly a nice. I think yours have larger flowers by the look of it.

That is so beautiful Carrie! I will bet there is a lot of satisfaction in getting that bloom after all you went through in saving it! Enjoy your blooms! Happy Holidays!

I have Don Herman H&R. It is also in bloom but it is no where near as floriferous. It's coloration isn't as interesting either. It's a big plant, but it too is still in "recovery" so I only had about 3 spikes of 2-4 flowers each on it - maybe next year

My Don Herman has sheaths showing but no bloom yet. If I get a chance to get one like yous, it will be very tempting!

I'll be watching at our little orchid show in the spring. I'm afraid there isn't a lot of variety here, though. There is always the mail for my birthday.

I know what you mean about variety. We go to the show in Edmonton in Feb. for much of what we get and otherwise, rely on mail or sometimes our guest speakers at the society meetings bring plants to sell. Terry from Forestview comes to our gardening show in March here and brings orchids too.
Hope you get a Volcano Trick somewhere!

Thanks. We only have 2 shows on the Island. One is too far away in Victoria and the other is a little thing in a mall in Nanaimo. My vanda guy didn't even come last year.
