It is a slow grower for the last 2 years! But this year I added lots of slow release fertilizer (20-7-10) in the pot and the whole plant greened up after a few months. The new bulb and leaf are double the size!

I think it needs alot of time until it gets mature! Came from Carmela Orchids.

When you bought it did you get the 2.5 or 4" pot?

It was repotted into a 4 inch pot when I got it. She had grown them from a compot.

Thank you. I have been thinking about placing an order with them. Have you been happy with what you received? Were your plants in 4" pots blooming size?

Not sure because she bought them as compots and they are mericlones. She grew them for about 1 year and moved them into 4 inch pots. It had 4 bulbs that were about 5 inches high.

The newest bulb and leaf is about 8 inches high.

I had grown the plant for 2 years and it was real pale yellow and slow growing until I added more fertilizer to it.

It is really vigorous this spring and I grow them really warm year round.
