Default Encyclia prismatocarpa spike questions

I got myself a Encyclia prismatocarpa and am so excited to grow it! I checked the website again and see that it blooms in spring, but I thought most spring bloomers should be getting spikes soon? Is this a late spring bloomer? If anyone has it when should I be looking for the spike?

All the orchids I bought from this place seem to be doing well. They all have new root growth. They're the more intermediate varieties compared to the phal I'm used to. I have an older orchid that hasn't bloomed in over 2 years now, I moved it a few months ago from an east window to the south window hoping for some blooms. I'm just hoping these catt I got (the one above, plus a terracotta and a Encyclia Alata) don't do the same thing and look nice but never bloom!

I'm not familiar with this one, but generally would expect sprung bloomers to possibly just be starting spikes anytime from around now (winter solstice is near) to March.

Hopefully others can help out more!
