It will be interesting to see. Orchids vary so much in how long they bloom. My reed stemmed epi bloomed a year and a half in s/h.

wow! thats crazy! im assuming it bloomed sequentially, theres no say the flowers could last that long! congrats!!

It did bloom sequentially, but also kept adding flowers to the top of each spike constantly, and when a spike would finish a new one would pop out at the side. I never had much luck with them before s/h. I'm wondering how this gorgeous vitellina would do growing this way.

nice! i dont think vitellina has a growth habit like that. it might, but not from what ive seen.
