Default Cattleya percivaliana

This is a first-time bloomer for me. I like the nice, compact nature of the plant, with sturdy upright growths (compared to the floppy messes that some of my other cattleyas are), and the scent is not quite as malodorous as I was lead to believe (in fact, I find it kind of nice in a "non-typical" cattleya scent sort of way).

Very nice! Mine is blooming now too - it is such a reliable bloomer starting on Thanksgiving and going until Christmas.

That's not any ordinary percivaliana. It's a much nicer flower than the typical examples. Does it have a clonal name? I have several C. percivaliana and none of them are anywhere close to being that nice. Take good care of it. I think it's a special plant.

Very pretty. Most of my Catts (including this one) are still not blooming size, so I love seeing what it might look like when .....

Very nice! I have a C. percivaliana 'Summit' that has a good sized sheath but no evidence of a bud. I'll have to enjoy yours instead!

Looks good Steve! Let us know if it opens up a bit more. If it does, then I'm with Tucker about it being a great flower! And maybe then the smell will knock you off your feet too! lol
