Coincidentally I carried a Fuchsia Doll (sincorana x Sierra Doll) grown by a friend to a show in KC weekend before last. It had the same lovely color and sepal shape as your sincorana, and I fell in love with it. I'll be trying to talk him out of a piece of it somewhere down the road.

Steve,
Alan Koch gave an amazing talk at our orchid society on Tuesday and one of the plants he talked about was Fuchia Doll (as well as Sierra Doll). Beautiful little thing! Anyway, if your friend can't give you a division, you could probably buy one from Gold Country Orchids They have really great, line bred plants.

Steve, Alan Koch is one of our favorites. I learn something every time I talk to him, or hear one of his talks. He spoke to our society back in June. He and my friend go back many years and do a lot of trading.

Normally I tend to be more a species guy, but I really liked the clean, elegant lines of that flower. It wasn't awarded, and the sepals are narrower than the 'Sherwood' clone, but for some reason it appealed to me. You're right, I should see what Alan has in that grex.
