Soph acuensis ??
Help Rosim!! I bought this with the label of soph acuensis but this is what it turned out to be when bloomed.Any ideas?

Jane, I can assure you that it is not Soph. acuensis, which is red and completely different. It also doesn't seem to have any Sophro in the background. By the lip shape it is possible to say that it has rupicolous Laelia in the background (probably Laelia briegeri, but I'm not self-assured on this). It seems to me that there are some two-leafed pseudo bulbs. If so, this is another aspect to reinforce the hybrid nature. I am sorry, but I can't say exactly what it is.
Apart all this, I am impressed with the color. By the picture I see a beautiful, singular shade of green. A keeper, for sure!

By talking to Mauro I'm trying to contact the South American grower & possibly getting the correct ID on this plant .Will update when & if I find out.

It looks more like laelia bradei - IOSPE PHOTOS
or laelia ghillanyi - IOSPE PHOTOS
than briegeri - IOSPE PHOTOS
especially by the labellum
or perhaps - laelia fournieri - IOSPE PHOTOS
